COVID-19 UPDATE 5/27/2021
Siblings can now come in with the patient. Two adults can now come in with the patient. Siblings and adults who are attending with a patient no longer need to have temperature checks unless they are visibly sick (or tell us that they are sick). ALL staff, patients, and family members who enter our office are still required to wear face masks until further notice, according to CDC guidelines.
COVID-19 UPDATE 7/20/2020
Face Masks are now required for anyone entering our office. The mask will need to be properly worn while in our office building. If you choose to not wear a mask, your appointment will be rescheduled until someone can bring your child with a mask on. If you do not have a mask, you may purchase a simple mask at our cost of $1.00, paid the day the mask is given to you. Thank you for your understanding.
Effective immediately until further notice:
-NO MORNING WALK-IN OR DAYTIME WALK-IN (APPOINTMENTS ARE REQUIRED)
-SICK SCHEDULED PATIENTS IN THE AFTERNOON ONLY
-TELEHEALTH AVAILABLE (For select visits only)
If your child is sick, call our office AS EARLY IN THE DAY AS POSSIBLE to schedule an appointment. Sick appointments will be scheduled in the afternoon with the doctor who is seeing sick patients that day. You will be sent a link in your email that will allow you to register your child without coming inside our office. When you arrive, please call us at 828-687-8709 ext 1301 to let us know you are here. Please wait in your car until we are ready to see your child. When we are ready to see your child and after your phone registration is done, we will call you and tell you which door to enter through. We will bring your sick child in through a special door and straight to your exam room in our “sick” patient hall. If you exit through the side door, you will place your encounter form in the rack near the door. If you need to schedule a return appointment, please call our office to schedule.
If you are scheduled for a well-care or any other type of appointment other than sick, you can still pre-register through the email link that we will send you. When you arrive, come inside to the front desk as always. Our waiting room will be for “well” kids only. Your child will be seen in our “well” patient hall. You will check out at the front desk as always.
Thank you for understanding while we try to keep our patients, families, staff and doctors safe and healthy.
